    This piano was part of the product line of Alfred Knight Pianos of Essex, England. The company was acquired by Maxwell & Codd, though Alfred Knight continued production into the early 90s. This console managed to find its way across the ocean.

  • Fischer

    Fischer pianos were named after its founders John and Charles Fischer in New York. It was later taken over by the American Piano Co. and then the Aeolian-American Co. in 1932. This piece has been partially restored.

    This console was made in New York by Sohmer & Co, at one point the Marshall & Mittauer piano factory. The Long Island based company would later be bought out by Bernard Greer of Falcone Piano who collected such names as Knabe, Mason & Hamlin and Steck under the new name of the Mason & Hamlin Corp.
